The film stars Elena Martín herself, Clàudia Dalmau and Mila Borràs, all of them in the role of Mila, aged 35, 15 and 5, respectively. The cast also includes Oriol Pla, Alex Brendemühl, Clara Segura, Marc Cartanyà, Carla Linares and Teresa Vallicrosa. This is what the director explains about her new film: Creatura' is my second feature film and is born out of the need to continue exploring the universe of female identity, which is a very interesting universe because it is still very tied to repression and taboo. In this case, I focus on the relationship that women have with our sexuality and the consequences of normalised sexual repression". "In the journey of 'Creatura', I have decided to enter a world full of taboos such as female infantile sexuality, the origin of this unconscious repression. I want to understand, to Throughout this story, women's relationship to guilt, disgust and shame. These emotions are closely related to repression and abuse. My interest lies mainly in repression, but there is an inextricable link with the threat of abuse in our social structure. ‘Creatura’ es mi segundo largometraje y nace de la necesidad de seguir explorando el universo de la identidad femenina, que es un universo muy interesante pues está aún muy atado a la represión y al tabú. En este caso, me centro en la relación que las mujeres tenemos con nuestra sexualidad y consecuencias de la represión sexual normalizada».

​​»En el viaje de ‘Creatura’, he decidido adentrarme en un mundo lleno de tabúes como es la sexualidad infantil femenina, origen de esta represión inconsciente. Quiero entender, a través de esta historia, la relación de las mujeres con la culpa, el asco y la vergüenza. Estas emociones están estrechamente relacionadas con la represión y el abuso. Mi interés reside sobre todo en la represión, pero existe un vínculo indisoluble con la amenaza del abuso en nuestra estructura social. Quiero analizar y romper la relación entre sexo y peligro, planteando mis dudas alrededor del miedo como medida protectora en la educación cristiana».
