Synopsis:

The series will give way to a new generation of dancers. Set in the Carmen Arranz dance school, 'UPA Next' will also bring back some of its most emblematic characters.

Our participation:

We were especially excited that Mediapro Studios called us to manage the large amount of intimate content in this sequel to the legendary "Un paso adelante", which marked a before and after in Spanish fiction in the 2000s. Our intention from the very beginning was the same as that of the whole production: to tell UPA by adapting it to the present day (also in the representation of intimacy and sexuality) but always respecting the characteristic spirit of the original project. We had the opportunity to work with both young actors in one of their first projects and veteran actors that we admire.

It has been fantastic to work with IntimAct. They allow us to generate a space, as their motto indicates, intimate, comfortable, practical and at the same time very effective for scenes that need specific attention and sensitivity. They are very well prepared and it is a constant dialogue with the performers so that they know at all times what they can and cannot do and what limits there are between them. In short, with them you get the scenes to reach an ideal atmosphere.
